Our story
Founded in 2018 by Rosie Choo Pidcock, Special Delivery is an independent creative studio that has brought together more than 250 artists, technicians, funders, and community partners to produce and distribute award-winning narrative films.
Our work explores grief, family, belonging and diasporic identity through character-driven stories that draw the universal out of the everyday.
Our projects have received funding from the National Film Board, the Canada Council for the Arts, British Columbia Arts Council, Voices With Impact, the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Canada Media Fund, Reelworld and CreativeBC.
About Rosie
Rosie is a filmmaker, educator and project leader who brings together storytelling, community engagement and operational excellence.
With experience across film, education, and technology, she has led multidisciplinary teams of 60+ contributors, delivered projects for Canada's national arts institutions, and built scalable workflows that keep diverse collaborators aligned on a shared vision.
Rosie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. She is based in East Vancouver, BC and fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Download CV.
